Global Payments is near a deal to acquire Britain’s Takepayments for more than $250M, Amy-Jo Crowley and Pablo Mayo Cerqueiro of Reuters report, citing two sources close to the matter. Global Payments prevailed over other bidders in a sale process, sources told Reuters.
