A German court has ruled against the sale of some of Intel’s (INTC) chips after finding in favor of R2 Semiconductor, which had accused Intel of infringing its patent, The Financial Times’ Guy Chazan and Michael Acton report. The ramifications could lead to a ban on the sale of HP (HPQ) and Dell (DELL) products containing the Intel chips at the center of the patent dispute, a person familiar with the matter says. Intel said it is “disappointed” with the decision and “intend to appeal.”
