General Motors’ Buick popular models to be hit with tariffs, Reuters says

General Motors (GM)’ Buick sales were up 39% in the first quarter of the year due to its refreshed lineup of compact SUVs, but this uptick will likely come to an end due to tariffs in the U.S., Kalea Hall of Reuters reports. Buick’s three most popular models are made outside of the U.S., with the Envisa and Encore GX both built in South Korea and Envision SUV made in China. All three of these models are subject to tariffs that could add thousands to the sticker prices on dealer lots in the U.S.
