Stifel analyst Matthew Smith lowered the firm’s price target on General Mills to $70 from $77 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. While underlying consumption trends in North America were comparable on a sequential basis in Q4, overall organic sales softened sequentially to -6% mostly due to unique factors, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Growth in the company’s categories has improved, which alongside greater investments, should drive improved organic sales through FY25, the firm says.
