JPMorgan analyst Seth Seifman upgraded General Electric to Overweight from Neutral with a price target of $180, up from $166. GE is the premier large cap name in commercial aerospace with regard to the business, where that business is in the cycle, the balance sheet, and the management team, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The Vernova unit looks promising as well based on rebounding margins and cash flow, as well as diversified exposure to the long-term energy transition, says the firm.
