General Dynamics was awarded a $967.19M cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to a previously awarded contract for lead yard support and development studies and design efforts related to Virginia Class submarines. Work is expected to be completed by October 2024. FY23 research, development, test and evaluation funding in the amount of $110M and FY21 shipbuilding and conversion funding in the amount of $1M, will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Naval Sea Systems Command is the contracting activity.
