GE Vernova plans to transform its offshore business globally into a smaller, leaner and more profitable business, and may cut about 900 jobs globally in order to do so, Bloomberg’s Brian Eckhouse and Josh Saul report, citing a company representative. The energy company has been impacted by inflation and supply issues, which have prompted project delays and cancellations, as well as blade failures at an offshore wind project in the U.K. and a blade that washed onto Nantucket shores.
