Barclays downgraded Gap (GAP) to Equal Weight from Overweight with a price target of $19, down from $24. The firm says its previous “blue-sky scenario” of Gap seeing double-digit operating margins by fiscal 2026 is now unattainable. This is due to tariff margin pressure and macro uncertainty, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
