FuboTV jumps after judge blocks Venu Sports week before launch

District Judge Margaret Garnett ruled in favor of FuboTV (FUBO) by issuing a preliminary injunction blocking Fox Corp. (FOXA), Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and Disney (DIS) from launching their Venu Sports streaming service one week before its launch The three companies “exercise near-monopolistic control over the ability for a different live-sports-only streaming service to exist and compete with” them, Garnett wrote. Shares of FuboTV are up 21% to $1.59 following the ruling.
