Piper Sandler analyst Michael Lavery raised the firm’s price target on Freshpet to $88 from $69 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The analyst believes Freshpet’s brand equity and product differentiation set it apart in the pet food space, and he expects a "long runway of strong growth." Freshpet’s total addressable market is significant, and growing, says Lavery, who expects fresh pet food to continue gaining share.
