Several cars of a freight train derailed on Wednesday in Ayer, Massachusetts, according to WCVB. Fire officials said the train was parked, not in motion, at the time that the cars toppled over. The Massachusetts Department of Emergency Management also said it was informed about the derailment and told the derailed cars were carrying trash and recycling materials, according to the publication. WCVB says Sky5 flew over the area and saw the toppled cars were linked to Norfolk Southern engines but the company subsequently said they were not operating the train. Reference Link
