New York City’s pension funds have sued the Fox Corporation and its board, accusing the company of neglecting its duty to shareholders by opening itself to defamation lawsuits over falsehoods broadcasted about the 2020 presidential election, Katie Robertson of The New York Times reports. The lawsuit was filed in the Delaware Court of Chancery. The funds are long-term shareholders of Fox, holding about 857,000 shares of the company.
