Families of the victims of two Boeing 737 Max crashes have lost their bid to reopen or reject an agreement the company reached with the U.S. in 2021, Bloomberg’s Madlin Mekelburg reports. A federal judge in Texas late Thursday said he lacked the authority to order a "substantive review and disapproval or modification" of the pact. "The court has no occasion to address whether the DPA is in fact grossly incommensurate with Boeing’s egregious criminal conduct," U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor wrote in his decision.
