Exxon Mobil suit against Arjuna Capital dismissed, NY Times reports

Judge Mark Pittman of U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas dismissed a lawsuit Exxon Mobil filed against Arjuna Capital over a shareholder proposal that called for cuts in the oil giant’s greenhouse gas emissions, Sydney Ember of The New York Times reports. The judge ruled that since Arjuna withdrew its proposal and vowed not to submit similar proposals, Exxon’s claim was moot.
