EU new car registrations down 3% in May

In May, car registrations in the European Union decreased by 3%, with declines observed in three out of the region’s four major markets of Italy, Germany and France, said the ACEA. Spain, on the other hand, achieved a modest growth of 3.4% last month, the group stated. Publicly traded automakers include Ford (F), General Motors (GM), Honda (HMC), Mercedes-Benz (MBGYY), Nissan (NSANY), Stellantis (STLA), Tesla (TSLA), Toyota (TM) and Volkswagen (VWAGY).
