Equinor is working with Jefferies to explore the sale of its operations in Azerbaijan, Dinesh Nair and Laura Hurst of Bloomberg report, citing people with knowledge of the matter. The assets, which include a 7.27% interest in the large Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, could be valued at about $1B, sources told Bloomberg. Bids for the assets are due in the coming weeks, the people added.
