After Equifax made an offer to acquire the remaining 90% of Boa Vista Servicos for a net purchase price of $564M, Stifel analyst Shlomo Rosenbaum said he views the deal as attractive for several reasons. The implied valuation is attractive for an asset growing in the strong double-digits, Equifax should be able to bring products from other International locations to Brazil and raise Boa Vista’s revenue growth rates, and the deal gives Equifax further exposure to the large and fast-growing Brazilian credit bureau space, Rosenbaum tells investors. He maintains a Buy rating and $222 price target on Equifax shares.
