Barclays raised the firm’s price target on Entergy (ETR) to $98 from $87 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares as part of a Q3 earnings preview. The firm believes the company’s “sector-leading” earnings growth and potential for upward revisions warrant a premium valuation for the shares. Barclays cites higher fiscal 2027 earnings estimates as well as slightly higher electric and gas group multiples for the target bump.
