Embracer is weighing options for its U.S. video game studio Gearbox, which is known for the “Borderlands” series of games, including a sale as Embracer seeks to shore up its finances, Reuters’ Amy-Jo Crowley and Supantha Mukherjee report, citing three people familiar with the matter. The biggest gaming company in Europe is working with Goldman Sachs and Aream & Co. to look into a sale, the author says, noting that the company has received interest in Gearbox from third parties.
