Wells Fargo analyst Timur Braziler raised the firm’s price target on East West Bancorp to $95 from $85 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The firm says top-quartile profitability, excess capital, and growth opportunities keep East West Bancorp as a long-term favorite. Near-term net interest income/net interest margin trends remain somewhat pressured, but results held up better-than-feared, with trends accelerating through FY25, Wells adds.
