BMO Capital analyst James Thalacker raised the firm’s price target on Duke Energy to $110 from $107 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The analyst notes that NCUC’s order outlining an initial Carbon Plan for the company is in line with expectations and supportive of its current 10-year capital program. Thalacker adds that he is positive on the shares based on the continued expansion of renewable development and fossil fuel retirements, along with Duke Energy’s "visible 95% regulated utility profile".
