BMO Capital lowered the firm’s price target on Dow Inc. to $58 from $65 and keeps a Market Perform rating on the shares after its Q1 results. The company’s fundamentals are progressing largely as expected and its management’s tone on the call was optimistic, but Dow Inc also acknowledged the year ahead remains uncertain as a lot hinges on the economic recovery in China and general stability elsewhere, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Dow’s fundamentals and earnings should continue to stabilize and grow as management navigates the macro with light inventories and cost cuts, the firm added.
