DoorDash is hiking delivery fees for Big Apple customers and restaurants alike to offset the costs of recent minimum wage hikes for delivery workers, New York Post’s Lisa Fickenscher reports. One month after legislation forced the food delivery apps to pay workers a higher hourly minimum wage, DoorDash informed restaurants that they will be paying a higher commission rate effective Wednesday, according to a memo obtained by The Post.
