UBS analyst Michael Lasser lowered the firm’s price target on Dollar General to $167 from $171 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The news that Dollar General is bringing back Todd Vasas as CEO should be welcome news for the stock, and the development is positive as Vasos’ previous time as CEO overlapped with a strong period of performance for the company, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Under his leadership, there should be more stability amongst the rest of the leadership team, UBS says.
