Disney has hired two former executives, Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs, to advise CEO Bob Iger on the company’s legacy television businesses, including ESPN, the Financial Times’ Christopher Grimes reports, citing people familiar with the situation. Mayer and Staggs, who currently run media group Candle, will also work with ESPN president Jimmy Pitaro to review strategic options for the channel.
