The board of Disney is looking at TV chief Dana Walden, ESPN head Jimmy Pitaro, theme-park chief Josh D’Amaro, and film business head Alan Bergman as eventual replacement for CEO Bob Iger, Bloomberg’s Thomas Buckley and Lucas Shaw preort, citing people familiar with the matter. As part of the eventual transition, Disney could name a COO or President in a number 2 role to serve for some time before Iger steps down, the report states.
