OTR Global says the firm’s checks with 29 sources show Dick’s Sporting Goods’ same-store-sales met plan for almost all managers during Q1, driven by solid demand for seasonal equipment and premium-priced apparel, shoes and beverage tumblers. The company’s same-store-sales momentum during May was similar or picked up compared with February through April, helped by warmer weather, adds OTR.
