Deutsche Bank cut spending on external consultants by 70% in its private bank as the division works to become more profitable, Olaf Storbeck of The Financial Times reports. Under the bank’s new head Claudio de Sanctis, the division has cut back on external advisers, ending projects involving Boston Consulting Group and other professional services firms, people familiar with the details told the Times.
