The bank plans to recommend 2023 dividends of EUR 900 million, or EUR 0.45 per share, up from EUR 0.30 per share for 2022, at its Annual General Meeting in May 2024. Having raised its capital outlook by EUR 3 billion in October 2023, the bank is well positioned to exceed its capital distribution goal of EUR 8 billion in respect of the financial years 2021-25, paid in 2022-26. The bank also published updated guidance for a proposed dividend of EUR 1.00 per share for the financial year 2025, subject to delivery of financial targets and to a 50% payout ratio.
