Delta still expects to proceed with Boeing 737 MAX 10 order, CNBC says

Delta (DAL) CEO Ed Bastian told CNBC that the airline anticipates moving forward with an order of Boeing (BA) 737 MAX 10 jets even as the planemaker struggles with issues surrounding the MAX 9. The carrier ordered 100 MAX 10 aircraft in 2022, with deliveries set to begin in 2025, CNBC’s Ryan Anastasio notes. “We certainly will not take them ’til we have 1,000% confidence that that plane is fully secure, fully safe and … everyone has signed off to that,” Bastian told CNBC’s Scott Wapner.
