Delta Air Lines (DAL) will offer travelers Wi-Fi for free starting in February after the carrier studied the possibility for years in order to attract customers, CNBC’s Leslie Josephs reports. Delta last March said it was outfitting more of its planes with fast Wi-Fi from ViaSat (VSAT), and that it’s available for a $5 flat-fee. The carrier offers free messaging. Reference Link
