Dell has notified customers that the company experienced a data breach which involved customers’ names and physical addresses, TechCrunch’s Lorenzo Franceschi-Bicchierai reports, citing a company email. Dell said it is investigating “an incident involving a Dell portal, which contains a database with limited types of customer information related to purchases from Dell,” adding, “We believe there is not a significant risk to our customers given the type of information involved.”
