Stifel analyst Derrick Whitfield lowered the firm’s price target on Darling Ingredients to $90 from $95 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares after the firm updated its model for recent feedstock, environmental attribute and commodity prices. On April 10, the California Air Resources Board, or CARB, plans to hold a public workshop to consider potential changes to the Low Carbon Fuel Standard, or LCFS, program, notes the analyst, who adds that LCFS pricing is “arguably the greatest regulatory driver of value” for Darling.
