CVS (CVS) and Walgreens (WBA) will start selling the abortion pill this month, with officials saying they have received certification to dispense mifepristone under guidelines that the FDA issued last year, The New York Times’ Pam Belluck reports. The medication will be available in a “handful” of states at first including New York and Pennsylvania and gradually expand to all other states where abortion is legal and where pharmacies are legally able to dispense abortion pills.
