Curtiss-Wright announced that it has been awarded a $24M contract from Nellis Air Force Base to provide Flight Test Instrumentation FTI equipment in support of the F-35 Technology Refresh 3, TR-3, program. Technology Refresh 3 represents a series of critical upgrades to the F-35’s hardware and software meant to improve its displays, memory and computer processing capability and support future modernization capabilities. “We are proud to have been selected by Nellis Air Force Base to provide our aerospace instrumentation technology for use on critical flight tests of the F-35 TR-3 program,” said Lynn M.
