Crystal Dynamics is accelerating plans to cease development on its live services game "Marvel’s Avengers," which first launched in 2020, Exputer’s Miller Ross reports. Developer Crystal Dynamics does not have plans to replace outgoing lead developer Brian Waggoner, and the remaining talent is expected to be moved full-time to Crystal Dynamics’ upcoming "Tomb Raider" game under Amazon (AMZN), the author says. The Fly notes that Crystal Dynamics was owned by Square Enix (SQNXF) when "Marvel’s Avengers" was released, and in 2022 the studio was acquired by Embracer Group (THQQF). Reference Link
