Argus keeps a Buy rating and $95 price target on Cracker Barrel but notes that the recent weakness in the stock presents a buying opportunity. The company has seen sequential improvement in dining traffic since August and comp sales rose 1.2%, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Cracker Barrel shares are also trading at 16-times its FY24 EPS estimate, which is below the five-year historical range of 17- to 28-times, the firm added.
