A consortium led by Aquarian Holdings is in advanced talks to acquire Brighthouse Financial (BHF) for $65 to $70 per share, Matthew Monks of Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter. Brighthouse may decide as soon as next week to move forward with a sale or remain independent, sources told Bloomberg. Shares of Brighthouse are up 6%, or $2.76, to $48.02 following the report.
