Comcast’s Universal Destinations & Experiences theme park is in talks with U.K. officials about tax and other infrastructure incentives to secure a multibillion pound resort in England’s eastern region of Bedford, The Financial Times’ Daniel Thomas reports. People close to the project say Comcast’s decision on whether to move forward with the project will depend in part on talks with government officials over economic incentives to de-risk the building of the theme park, which would be similar in size to the company’s U.S. sites in Orlando and Hollywood.
