Comcast (CMCSA) is planning to launch a streaming bundle that includes its Peacock platform with rivals Netflix (NFLX) and Apple TV+ (AAPL), The Wall Street Journal’s Patience Haggin and Jessica Toonkel report. The new “StreamSaver” bundle will be available exclusively to subscribers of Comcast’s internet service, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts said at a MoffettNathanson investor conference Tuesday. Last week, Disney (DIS) and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) said they would offer Disney’s Disney+ and Hulu and Warner’s Max service as part of a bundle, which will become available this summer.
