Comcast (CMCSA) Corporation announced that Steve Croney has been promoted to a newly created role as COO for the domestic businesses of its Connectivity & Platforms segment that serves more than 32M customers. As COO, Croney will lead the teams responsible for Comcast’s residential and commercial businesses in the US, including product strategy, sales and marketing, customer experience, field operations, and data analytics. He will report to Dave Watson, the CEO of Comcast Connectivity & Platforms, and the teams that run these functions will report to Croney, effective immediately. Most recently, Croney served as CFO and was responsible for all functional, programmatic and financial operations of Connectivity & Platforms.
