Coinbase plans to potentially set up overseas crypto platform, Bloomberg reports

Coinbase is in talks with institutional clients about potentially setting up a new overseas crypto trading platform, Bloomberg’s Eva Szalay and Yueqi Yang report. According to three people with direct knowledge of the matter, the talks involve the possibility of establishing a venue away from the main Coinbase marketplace for global clients. Coinbase has yet to decide where the platform might be based, but it has been speaking to market makers about connecting to it, one of the people said.
