Mark Shafir, most recently co-head of Global M&A at Citi, is set to retire, The Wall Street Journal’s Lauren Thomas reports, citing a memo seen by the publication. Shafir, who has been at Citi for 15 years, plans to stay on at Citi to help with the transition process through mid-May, according to the memo. The other co-head of Global M&A, Cary Kochman, will continue leading the bank’s M&A franchise, the report says. Reference Link
