Chord Energy COO Chip Rimer to retire, Darrin Henke to succeed

Chord Energy announced the appointment of Susan Cunningham as independent chair of Chord Energy’s board of directors, effective January 1, 2024. Lynn Peterson is scheduled to retire as the executive chair of Chord Energy’s board of directors on December 31, which will reduce the board size to nine members. The company also announced the appointment of Darrin Henke to executive VP and COO, effective January 2, 2024. Chip Rimer, Chord’s current executive VP and COO, will retire on January 12, 2024.
