China plans to curb exports of some graphite products in order to protect national security, Reuters’ Siyi Liu and Dominique Patton report. China is the world’s top graphite producer and exporter, and the country refines more than 90% of the world’s graphite into the material that is used in mostly all EV battery anodes. Publicly traded companies that may be impacted include GrafTech (EAF) and Tesla (TSLA).
