Goldman Sachs analyst Lizzie Dove lowered the firm’s price target on Cedar Fair to $43 from $50 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The firm’s deep dive into foot traffic data by park and pricing analysis shows muted trends across the board for Q2 and “we don’t think all of this can be blamed on the weather,” the analyst tells investors in a preview note for the Americas amusement parks group. The firm expects Cedar Fair will report “mixed” Q2 results given the weaker-than-expected foot traffic data, which appears to be trending lower than the other regional parks, the analyst noted.
