Redburn Atlantic initiated coverage of Carlyle with a Buy rating and $55 price target. The firm says the “valuation appeal of Carlyle is powerful” and the groundwork is being done for future improvement at the company. Following a template used by other U.S. private market names, Carlyle has made material changes to its compensation structure, shifting a greater proportion of earnings towards shareholders and giving employees a greater proportion of performance-related earnings, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
