Canadian National (CNI) is ending its lockout immediately and proceeding with its plan to get its train moving as quickly as it can, the Associated Press’ Rob Gillies and Josh Funk report, citing a rail official. The Canadian government ordered the company’s and Canadian Pacific Kansas City’s (CP) railroads into arbitration on Thursday to put a stop to a lockout that started overnight, the authors note.
