In a purchase to mark the largest investment in the Canadian Air Force in more than 30 years, Canada has finalized a deal to buy 88 F-35 fighter jets from Lockheed Martin in a $14.2B project, reported Reuters, citing the Canadian government. Canada expects the first F-35s to be delivered in 2026 and anticipates full operational capability of the fleet between 2032 and 2034. Reference Link
