In a memo to staff sent Thursday morning, BuzzFeed CEO Jonah Peretti said he intends to use ChatGPT creator OpenAI to enhance the website’s quizzes and personalize some content for its audiences, Alexandra Bruell of Wall Street Journal reports. Peretti expects artificial intelligence to assist the creative process and enhance BuzzFeed’s content, while humans play the role of providing ideas, "cultural currency," and "inspired prompts," he wrote in his memo, according to the Journal.
